Interview with our Product Manager: PEAK a Game- Changing Tool for Boosting Player Engagement

Offering additional power and flexibility to operators in a bid to ultimately heighten engagement and retention is a tightrope that is often being trodden by many suppliers across the global online casino space.

This hasn’t escaped the attention of SYNOT Games, which is aiming to achieve exactly this via the addition of enhanced gamification and competition layers through its new Player Engagement and Acquisition Kit​ tool.

PEAK, SYNOT says, will deliver increased engagement, loyalty and interaction, as well as offering quick and easy promotion management and compliance with regulations, among its key benefits and features.

Subsequently, Product Manager Katarina Ružičková sat down with CasinoBeats to detail the motivations behind the introduction, how this better meets the needs of operators compared to similar offerings, what improvements we can expect moving forward and much more.

CasinoBeats: To begin, could you outline the thought process behind the introduction of PEAK and what you are hoping to achieve with the tool?

Katarina Ružičková: PEAK, or the Player Engagement and Acquisition Kit, was developed with the goal of enhancing player engagement and making it easier for operators to create compelling promotions. 

The journey began with a Minimum Viable Product, which was rigorously tested internally. Not only was it tested by our team, but our entire company participated in a Christmas tournament, giving us invaluable insights. 

It took one and a half years to go from the initial idea to launching live tournaments. We wanted to ensure that the tool is intuitive for operators and engaging for players, enabling them to participate in exciting tournaments without disrupting their gaming experience.

CBWhat results were evident from what were undoubtedly intensive testing phases? And what alterations were implemented as a result?

KR: The intensive testing phase led us to make several important UI and UX adjustments. Our focus was on making the interactive icon more intuitive, improving its design, and refining the logic. 

This icon plays a crucial role by showing countdowns, player progress, and tournament rankings in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to gameplay. Animations were added to make the experience feel more dynamic and in-the-moment. 

These refinements, based on internal feedback, significantly improved player interaction, creating a more seamless experience.

CBHow do you believe that this will better address the needs of operators when compared to the numerous similar offerings available on the market?

KR: PEAK stands out because it combines an intuitive setup for operators with a highly engaging, interactive design for players. It brings gamification and a competitive edge to igaming, which not only improves player retention but also enhances acquisition and reactivation efforts.

Operators can set up tournaments and prize drops across multiple casinos, currencies, and games with ease. The ability to run multiple tournaments simultaneously, combined with real-time player tracking, translation into 32 languages, and customisable eye-catching graphics, makes PEAK a comprehensive solution that simplifies and elevates the promotion process. 

Additionally, we’ve built PEAK with strict jurisdictional requirements in mind, ensuring it is compliant with even the most rigorous regulatory environments. Features like the ability to track player progress without interrupting gameplay are particularly valuable in today’s competitive market.

CBYou vow to deliver enhanced player engagement and increased interaction. What strategies and functionalities will be at play to achieve this?

KR: From my experience working in online casinos, I understand how difficult it can be to create engaging promotions without the right tools. PEAK solves this by allowing operators to effortlessly create tournaments and prize drops that attract both existing and new players. 

These promotion types cater to different audiences, giving operators the flexibility to run campaigns that appeal to diverse player segments. 

With features like Happy Hour in Prize Drop, which boosts overall performance by awarding players special prizes or increasing their chances to win, PEAK helps operators create dynamic, engaging experiences and lively gaming atmosphere that keep players coming back.

CBHow do you envisage the ongoing developments and upgrades of PEAK progressing moving forward? What can we expect to witness to ensure that it differs from the norm?

KR: PEAK is a constantly evolving project. We are already working on new promotion types, reward options, and innovative features like a player dashboard. 

One exciting upcoming feature is our version of the ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ which we plan to launch early next year. While the details are still under wraps, I can promise that it will add a fresh twist to the classic concept, differentiating PEAK from other similar offerings on the market. 

We aim to keep pushing the boundaries of player engagement with continuous updates and new functionalities.
